An Experience of Awakening: When Truth Sweeps Away Media Lies<\/p>\n
Among all the conversations today, meeting this elderly gentleman was highly memorable for us. Formerly a Christian, he said with remarkable sincerity that he now considers himself a Muslim at heart. He spoke of his bitter experience attending a royalist demonstration in recent weeks and how he realized they had lied to him.<\/p>\n
He said: “They had told me that women in Iran have no freedom whatsoever and are constantly being killed, but I saw footage on television of young girls in Iranian parks sitting quite freely, styled much like our own Punk teenagers.” But beyond the images, our very presence was proof enough for him; he said: “I can see how free and active you are here despite wearing the hijab, and you are not restricted at all.”<\/p>\n
His enthusiasm did not end there; he was looking for more detailed information to officially change his religion and convert to Islam. Throughout our “rally and awakening event,” he stood by our side, conversed with us, and we could feel how much peace and empathy he felt being with us. His prolonged presence next to our table went beyond mere curiosity and was a sign of a profound transformation of the heart.<\/p>\n
At the end, as he was preparing to embrace Islam, I told him: “Read this website (Whoisimammahdi) and you will become completely and deeply acquainted with Islam.”<\/p>\n
Beyond the Media: The Truth in the Heart of Hannover
\nToday at the Hannover Central Station, we hosted hearts that were searching for the truth. We had conversations that went beyond media clich\u00e9s:<\/p>\n
From Lie to Reality: An elderly man who was previously Christian and has now become a Muslim at heart spoke of the deception of the royalists. He said he was told there is no freedom in Iran, but he himself had seen images of girls with modern and free styles. Seeing our free presence in the heart of Germany, he confessed that the truth is different from what is being propagated.<\/p>\n
Resistance is Rooted in Faith: We explained to passersby that our steadfastness is not merely political; it is rooted in the belief in the return of the Savior, Imam Mahdi (May God hasten his advent) and Jesus Christ (Peace be upon him). It is this hope that keeps us firm against oppressors.<\/p>\n
Women’s Rights and Fatemi Heritage: In response to those who accused Islam of being anti-woman, we said: How can a religion oppress women when we have stood for 1400 years centered around the dignity of and the oppression faced by our Prophet’s daughter (Peace be upon her)? Our mourning for her is the source of our strength and resistance.<\/p>\n
