On December 21, 2025 , we arrived in Hanover, Germany—a city in northern Germany with a population of over half a million, historically known as a center for affluent individuals and German merchants.
We set up the booth of the international campaign “Who Is Imam Mahdi” for a short-term yet impactful outreach activity. Given that these were the final days of 2025, we had prepared gifts in advance for the Christmas season and distributed them among passersby and visitors. This created an opportunity to foster a sense of empathy and connection, while also allowing us to speak about the nature of our activities and the purpose of our presence in this location.
We believed that the Palestinian keffiyeh, even in the far corners of the Western world, has the power to attract hearts weary of oppression and injustice. For this reason, we placed this symbol of freedom and resistance at the highest point of our booth, so that our interactions with the people of Hanover could begin from this shared human concern.
The card display stand featuring English translations of supplications from Al-Sahifa Al-Sajjadiyya also attracted a dedicated audience. Supplication is not a concept understood only by Muslims; people of all backgrounds, cultures, beliefs, and religions recognize that prayer can be a key to relief, inner openness, and spiritual awakening.
