Campaign Topic

The uprising in support of Palestine

Here, Imam Hussein (AS) Square and the international campaign “Who is Imam Mahdi” hosted the first nationwide and massive “Palestine Cry” uprising on May 12.
We settled in the heart of Imam Hussein (AS) Square with the aim of supporting the oppressed people of Gaza. From the very first moments, the campaign tents and booths became stations for exchanging ideas and providing services. Our appointment time with people concerned about peace and justice was around 3:00 PM; but earlier than that, and a larger crowd than we expected, joined us.
The work began with a precise division; we believed that the breadth of the campaign’s ideals required order in its implementation. The booths and products were managed under the supervision of the most specialized experts. From written packages and in-depth introductions to the “Global Appeal” project to explaining the role of seeking salvation in creating a new Islamic civilization. The establishment of specialized teams to provide legal and family counseling, along with free medical services and visits, gave our audience a sense of security and satisfaction.
The campaign programs had created indescribable enthusiasm in the people. We knew well that art and music were the twin spirits of the free people who had gathered here and today around the axis of resistance and justice. That is why we broke the silence of this uprising with the people with good taste in music and left unforgettable memories for our audience.
Every interaction with the audience was an opportunity to discuss the strong connection between “Imam-Knowledge” and “Palestinian Liberation”. We explained how the collective will to emerge, in practice, gives objectivity to helping the oppressed.
As the crowd grew, the people’s unison with the call of “Allahu Akbar” in the square gave us additional energy. While serving the attendees, the crushing cry of “Death to Israel” rose from the depths of our souls and we shouted “Long Live Palestine!” Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) Square was the scene of the Iranian nation’s will to support Palestine. And this was not the end; it was the beginning of a series of continuous uprisings for the international campaign “Who is Imam Mahdi” until “Labbayk Ya Mahdi” would resonate throughout the world.
