The beginning of any journey is always filled with excitement and anxiety. It feels as if you can’t fully relax until you’ve crossed the border… Even until your feet touch the soil of the sacred land, your heart remains uneasy about arriving. Last year, I left my heart on the bustling road, so this year, I set off toward the Mehran border… My heart was racing with uncertainty, torn between the hope of arrival and the fear of never reaching my destination… But I told myself, “When the Imam calls you, how can he leave your restless heart unattended?” Especially this year. This pilgrimage was not just about the journey itself, but I was meant to be a steadfast ambassador for our beloved Imam. Eventually, we reached the border with great difficulty. But this year, we weren’t supposed to cross it so quickly. We were meant to stay, engage with passionate individuals, and speak of the human being… of thehuman being that, no matter how lost s/he feels, never loses their way to love… a love that is genuine and ultimately leads to inner peace. A love that embodies freedom from all shackles of life and the salvation of humanity… We wanted to tell them that connecting with the Savior of humanity begins from within themselves! We did everything in the hope of finding a place to stay at the border for a few days, to set up our booth and begin our work. But each time we came across some obstacles… We had almost lost hope… The central booth hadn’t even been set up yet to support us in tough times, but amidst this fear and hope, I didn’t lose hopein the Imam. I was certain a way would be found… The one who had called me would show me the way… We decided to cross the border and seek refuge in the sacred sanctuary of the father of the world’s Savior, hoping that our problems would be resolved there. That place is the sanctuary whose owner is someone else. There is room for everyone to sleep and rest… And food is always provided. We settled in the safe sanctuary of our heavenly father and began our work. Even though we weren’t allowed to bring all our equipment, we tried our best to make use of what we had. We held up a mirror which reflected every person’s own self and said that the salvation of humankind starts within them. Once you know yourself and understand your need for the infallible Imam, you will put forth all your efforts to overcome the obstacles in connecting with that Imam. Thank God, a few people embraced our cause, and they became ambassadors of humanity and Imam Mahdi (AJ), wherever they could.
