Finally, this year our plans for Arbaeen were set, and we headed to the land of love… But this year, things were different from our past journeys. We weren’t just going for a grand global walk; rather we wanted to express our committed love for Imam Mahdi (AJ). We wanted to do more than just talk about love; we wanted to inspire action… It should compel us to play a role in introducing this love and inspiring others to love as well.   Our goal was to set up a counter along the pilgrimage route, a place where we could share with the world who Imam Mahdi truly is. We believe that each of us has a crucial role to play in his coming, and we wanted to spread that message far and wide. The first step is to know ourselves and help others know themselves. Until we understand who we are, we cannot understandwhy we need an infallible Imam.   On the first day, while we were setting up the counter, a young man approached us. With his charming Shirazi accent, he asked what we were doing. After I explained what we were up to, he got excited and said he’d never seen anything like this before! He was deeply moved by our way of introducing Imam Mahdi (AJ) on an international level. He was so inspired that he took several posters from us and became an ambassador for introducing the Imam whom people have lost.
