We were supposed to settle at a mawkib called the Servants of Imam Reza at Pole 557. But when we arrived, we realized it was situated far from the main road, making things difficult for us.
We looked around and came across an Iranian mawkib. After explaining our situation, they warmly welcomed us and offered their facilities.
Right in front of their mawkib, we set up our counter and got to work.
As the call to prayer sounded, the Iraqi mawkib across from us brought us food and water.
Our neighbors had also placed two fans facing the main road to help cool down the pilgrims. Upon seeing us, they turned one of the fans towards us, ensuring our comfort.
I’m still amazed by the boundless love of Iraqi people. They pour their heart and soul, their entire being, into serving anyone who says the name of Hussain. Their generosity knows no bounds.
This is the legacy of the Family of Prophet Muhammad (PBUT), and we are determined to make it global.
