Yesterday, amidst the hustle and bustle of pilgrims of Abba Abdullah near the Holy Shrine of Amir al-Mu’minin, a woman approached the booth of the “Who Is Imam Mahdi?” campaign, asking for directions as if she had been lost.
I took the opportunity to explain the campaign to her. When I mentioned the request for holding an urgentprayer ceremony for the coming of Imam Mahdi (AJ), tears suddenly filled her eyes, and she said, “Believe me, Imam Mahdi guided me to this alley; I wasn’t even supposed to be here.”
I asked her how that was possible. She replied, “Sometimes, I hold prayer ceremonies at my home. About a month or two ago, I had a dream where I received a letter from Imam Mahdi, telling me to pray for him on Friday evenings! I had that in my mind, but I wasn’t doing anything significant besides reciting the ‘Allahumma kun liwalik…’
Now that you mentioned holding a prayer ceremony, I remembered that dream… It seems like the Imam Himself has reminded me again… It’s as if this act is so important that I’ve been reminded multiple times not to neglect it… I promise that when I return, I will definitely hold this ceremony.
And here I stand, my heart brimming with an ocean of longing and sorrow over the absence of the Imam, whose call for help resonates in the dreams and waking moments of his children…
