Human beings inherently crave immortality, and consequently, the most crucial mission of all prophets has been to nurture forward-looking individuals. Foresight, hope, and love for the future are the driving forces of human life and the sources of energy and vitality. The most significant determinant of bliss in our lives is our outlook on the future. If we perceive the future as an inevitable and everlasting phenomenon, we will undoubtedly prepare ourselves for it. This preparation for the everlasting future aligns with the ultimate purpose of creation.
A person who perceives himself as an eternal being will make his utmost effort to attain peace and happiness in that certain future. This effort fosters a personal connection between each individual and the future, equating to having a role in and being a part of building the future. The prophets’ task was to cultivate individuals with this vision and understanding, enabling them to play a role in shaping the future. The more actively someone works towards the future promised by religions, the greater his enjoyment of life in the present and his existential value.
The future promised by Islam to humanity is one where the oppressed will inherit the earth, and tyranny and oppressors will be destroyed by the righteous. The prerequisite for the righteous inheriting the earth is the weakening of tyrannical rule over time. Falsehood is weakened when truth increases in number and monotheism gains strength in the Front of Truth. God’s inevitable promise of the oppressed ruling the world provides humans with the strength and hope to build the future.
Islam is the religion of moderation, which, due to this characteristic, has attracted the hearts of eager people worldwide. Ultimately, all the righteous will recognize its truth. Islam envisions a future of peace and tranquility for humanity, realized through the prevalence of the Religion of Truth. In the End Times, the number of people in the Front of Truth will increase, while the number of supporters of tyranny and falsehood will significantly diminish. An example of this global empathy and the fight against oppression can be seen in the Arbaeen Walk. In the End Times, people will unite around the truth, leading to a confrontation between the two Fronts of Truth and Falsehood. Individuals’ allegiance to either front will be determined before the advent of the Promised Savior, and coming to faith after the manifestation of the definitive signs of the advent will no longer be beneficial.

“He is the one Who sent His Messenger with the guidance and the religion of truth, to make it prevail over all religions, even though the polytheists hate it.” (Quran,9:33)
“Remember, O believers, when Allah promised ˹to give˺ you the upper hand over either target, you wished to capture the unarmed party.1 But it was Allah’s Will to establish the truth by His Words and uproot the disbelievers; to firmly establish the truth and wipe out falsehood—even to the dismay of the wicked.” (Quran,8:7-8)
“Remember˺ when the angels proclaimed, “O Mary! Allah gives you good news of a Word1 from Him, his name will be the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary; honoured in this world and the Hereafter, and he will be one of those nearest ˹to Allah.” (Quran,3:45)
‘I asked Abu Ja’far-asws about Tafseer of this Verse regarding the Words of Allah-azwj: ‘and Allah Intended that the Truth be proven true by His Words and to cut off the roots of the Kafirs [8:7]. Abu Ja’far-asws said: ‘Its interpretation in the esoteric (meaning) is that Allah-azwj ‘Allah Intended’, so it is a thing which He-azwj Intends and did not Do it yet. And as for His Words: the Truth be proven true by His Words, so it means the right of Progeny of Muhammad be proven true’.

Satan appealed, “My Lord! Then delay my end until the Day of their resurrection.” Allah said, “You will be delayed until the appointed Day.” (Quran,15:36-38)
‘From Abu Abdullah-asws, he (the narrator) said, ‘I asked him-asws about Iblees -la and his-la words, He said, ‘Lord! Then Respite me up to the Day they would be Resurrected’ [15:36]. He said: “So you are from the Respited ones [15:37] Up to the Day of the known time” [15:38], ‘Which day is it?’
He said: ‘O Wahab! Do you reckon that it is the Day Allah-azwj will be Resurrecting the people? No! But Allah-azwj Mighty and Majestic Respited him-la up to the day Allah-azwj will be Sending our Qaim-ajfj, and he-ajfj will seize his-la forelocks and strike off his-la neck. So that is the day it is the Day of the known time” [15:38]’’.

“And declare, “The truth has come and falsehood has vanished. Indeed, falsehood is bound to vanish.” (Quran, 17:81)
And with regard to the statement of the Mighty and Majestic: “ [17:81] and say: The truth has come and falsehood has vanished, surely falsehood is a vanishing thing,” he said: when Al-Qaim makes the stand the governments of the falsehood will be destroyed. (Abu Jafar Muhammad bin Yaqub Al-Kulayni. Al Kafi, V 8 – The Book – Garden (of Flowers) CH 2 H 14880)
Say ˹to them, O Prophet˺, “Each ˹of us˺ is waiting, so keep waiting! You will soon know who is on the Straight Path and is ˹rightly˺ guided.” (Quran, 20:135)
“And so We have made you ˹believers˺ an upright1 community.” (Quran, 2:135)
‘From Musa (asws) Bin Ja’far(asws), from his (asws) father(asws) regarding Words of Allah Mighty and Majestic: for soon you will come to known who is the companion of the Even Path and who is Guided’ [20:135]. Heasws said: ‘The Even Path, it is Al-Qaim (asws), and the guided one is the one guided to his obedience, and its example in the Book of Allah Mighty and Majestic is: And I am Forgiving to the one who repents and believes and does righteous deeds, then (follows) righteous Guidance [20:82]. He (asws) said: ‘To ourasws Wilayah’’.

“Only when they see what they have been threatened with will they know who is weaker in helpers and inferior in manpower.” (Quran, 72:24)
Ali ibn Muhammad has narrated from certain persons of our people from ibn Mahbub from Muhammad ibn al-Fudayl who has said the following. “I asked abu al-Hassan al-Madi about the words of Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most gracious.” … “until the unbelievers witness that with which they have been threatened, they will then know whose helpers are weaker and fewer in number.” (72:24) The Imam said:” It is a reference to the rise of al-Mahdi with Divine Authority and his supporters.”
(Abu Jafar Muhammad bin Yaqub Al-Kulayni. AL-KAFI, V. 1.)
‘From Abu Ja’far (asws) regarding Words of Mighty and Majestic: Know that Allah Revives the earth after its death [57:17]: ‘It mean by its death, the Kufr of its people, and the Kafir is a dead (person), so Allah will Revive it by Al-Qaim (asws), who (asws) will do justice in it. Thus the earth would be revived, and its people would be revived, after their death’’. (Allama Baqir Al-Majlisi. Bihar Al Anwaar – V 24, The book of Imamate, P 1 Ch 67 H 39)
“Had those ˹unknown˺ believers stood apart, We would have certainly inflicted a painful punishment on the disbelievers.” (Quran, 48:25)
From Abu Abdullaha having said regarding the Words of Allah Mighty and Majestic: If they had been apart, We would have Punished those who committed Kufr from them with a painful Punishment [48:25]: ‘If Allah Extracts whatever is in the lineages of the Momineen and the Kafirs, and whatever from the Momineen is in the lineages of the Kafirs, He would Punish the ones who commit Kufr’’

“˹O Prophet!˺ Tell the believers to forgive those who do not fear Allah’s days ˹of torment˺, so that He will reward each group for what they used to commit.” (Quran, 45:14)
“And remind them of Allah’s days ˹of favour˺.” Surely in this are signs for whoever is steadfast, grateful.” (Quran, 14:5)
Regarding the phrase “and remind them of Allah’s (holy) days,” it undoubtedly refers to specific days. While every day inherently belongs to God, certain days are distinctly attributed to Him due to the prominent manifestation of His decree. These days include significant moments when His supremacy and unity are either displayed or destined to be revealed. Prominent among these are the day of one’s demise, emphasizing the dominion of the Hereafter, and the Day of Resurrection, a day where each soul stands solitary, with all affairs solely under God’s jurisdiction. Other notable days include when divine retribution befell communities like those of Noah, Ad, and Thamud.

Abi Ja’far al-Baqir (MGB) say, “The days of the Honorable the Exalted God are three: the Day on which the Riser (MGB) shall rise; the Day of Return and the Resurrection Day.”

“What is left ˹as a lawful gain˺ by Allah is far better for you if you are ˹truly˺ believers.” (Quran, 11:86)
At that time will arise our Qaim. When he reappears he would lean on the Kaaba and three hundred and thirteen men would reach him, and the first words he speaks would be: “What remains with Allah is better for you if you are believers…”
Then he would say: I am the remnant of Allah on the earth and the vicegerent of God and His Divine Proof upon you. Then no Muslim would greet him except by the words:
“Peace be on you, O the remnant of Allah on His earth.”
And when the number of his supporters reaches one Iqd, that is 10000 men, he would set out. Then no deity except Allah, the Mighty and Sublime would remain on the earth. Idols, statutes and such other things would be destroyed, and fire would rise up among them; and this would come to pass after a prolonged occultation till the Almighty Allah knows who brings faith during the occultation and who obeys.”

“We will show them Our signs in the universe and within themselves until it becomes clear to them that this ˹Quran˺ is the truth.” (Quran, 41:53)
H 15022 – Abu Ali Al-Ashary, from Muhammad bin Abdul Jabbar, from Al-Hassan Bin Ali, from Ali
Bin Abu Hamza, from Abu Baseer, who has said:’I asked Abu Abdullah about the Statement of Allah azw Mighty and Majestic: “[41:53] We will soon show them Our signs in the Universe and in their own souls, until it will become quite clear to them that it is the truth”, he said: He Showed them in their own selves, the metamorphosis, and Showed them in the horizon, the breakdowns in the horizons so they would see the Power of Allah Mighty and Majestic within themselves and in the horizon’. So I said to him, (What about) “until it will become quite clear to them that it is the truth”?” He said:The coming out of Al-Qaim, it is the truth from the Presence of Allah Mighty and Majestic which the creatures will see, it is inevitable’. “Know that Allah revives the earth after its death.” (Quran, 57:17)
“The earth will shine with the light of its Lord.” (Quran, 39:69)
Al-Mufaḍḍal b. ‘Umar reported: I (i.e. al-Mufaḍḍal b. ‘Umar) heard Abū ‘Abd Allāh (Ja‘far al-Ṣādiq), peace be on him, “When the one of us who rises (qā’im) rises, the earth will shine with the light of its lord. Men will not need the light of the sun and darkness will vanish.

“Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “On the Day of Decision it will not benefit the disbelievers to believe then, nor will they be delayed ˹from punishment˺.” (Quran, 32:29)
“We brought the Children of Israel across the sea. Then Pharaoh and his soldiers pursued them unjustly and oppressively. But as Pharaoh was drowning, he cried out, “I believe that there is no god except that in whom the Children of Israel believe, and I am ˹now˺ one of those who submit.” (Quran, 10:90)
Imam Sadiq (as) said, “The day of victory’‘ is the day on which the Qaem (as) will achieve victory in the world. On that day, accepting the faith will not benefit anyone who does not already believe and has not become certain after the victory.
However, those who already believed in him and are certain in their beliefs will profit from their faith. Their status will be elevated with Allah. On the Day of Judgment, Allah will decorate His Paradise for them and He will keep the fires of Hell (away) from them.
This is the reward of those who believe in the Wilayat of the Commander of the Believers and his purified progeny.

“If We willed, We could send down upon them a ˹compelling˺ sign from the heavens, leaving their necks bent in ˹utter˺ submission to it.” (Quran, 26:4)
These two calls must occur before the appearance of al-Qa’im. One will be from the Heaven calling out the name of al-Qa’im and the name of his father. It will be the call of Gabriel. The other will be from the earth and it will be the call of Iblis calling out the name of someone claiming that he has been killed unjustly just to create sedition among people. Obey the first call and beware of being deceived by the second one!”

“Imagine ˹O Prophet˺ if We allowed them enjoyment for years, then there came to them what they had been threatened with.” (Quran, 26:205-206)
“Would that enjoyment be of any benefit to them ˹at all˺?” (Quran, 26:207)
from the book ‘Al Bisharat’ of the Seyyid Razi Al Deen Ali Bin Tawoos, in a book compiled by Ja’far Bin Muhammad Bin Malik Al Kufi, by his chain to Humran who said, ‘The age of the world is one hundred thousand years. For rest of the people are twenty thousand years, and eighty thousand years are for Progeny-asws of Muhammad-saww, upon him-saww and upon them-asws be the greetings’’
“˹O Prophet!˺ Tell the believers to forgive those who do not fear Allah’s days ˹of torment˺.” (Quran, 45:14)
‘From Abu Abdullah regarding Words of Mighty and Majestic: Can you see, if We were to Let them enjoy for years [26:205] Then there comes to them what they were threatened of [26:206], he said: ‘The rising of Al-Qaim’. It would not avail them what they were enjoying? [26:207], he said: ‘They are the clan of Umayyad who enjoyed themselves in the world’’. (Allama Baqir Al-Majlisi. Bihar Al Anwaar –V 24, The book of Imamate, P 1 Ch 67 H 96)
“He is the One Who has sent His Messenger with ˹true˺ guidance and the religion of truth, making it prevail over all others, even to the dismay of the polytheists.” (Quran, 61:9)
“They ask, “Why has no ˹other˺ sign been sent down to him from his Lord?” Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “˹The knowledge of˺ the unseen is with Allah alone. So wait! I too am waiting with you.” (Quran, 10:20)
it is narrated from Ali bin Ahmad from Muhammad bin Abu Abdillah al-Kufi from Musa bin Imran al-Nakhii from his uncle Husain bin Yazid from Ali bin Abi Hamza from Yahya bin Abul Qasim from Imam Ja’far Sadiq bin Muhammad that the latter was asked about the verse: Alif Lam Mim. This Book, there is no doubt in it, is a guide to those who guard (against evil). Those who believe in the unseen…
The Imam said: Here the pious means the Shias of Ali and the unseen implies the hidden proof of Allah. It is proved by the verse:
And they say: Why is not a sign sent to him from his Lord? Say: The unseen is only for Allah; therefore wait- surely I too, with you am of those who wait.
Thus the Almighty Allah has informed that unseen is His sign and Proof. It is proved by the verse: And We made the son of Maryam and his mother a sign.
Al-Shaikh Al-Saduq. Kamaaluddin wa Tamaamun Ni’ma, Vol. 1.
“Are they awaiting the coming of the angels, or your Lord ˹Himself˺, or some of your Lord’s ˹major˺ signs? On the Day your Lord’s signs arrive, belief will not benefit those who did not believe earlier or those who did no good through their faith.1 Say, “Keep waiting! We too are waiting.” (Quran, 6:158)
Narrated to us …from Abi Baseer that as-Sadiq Ja’far bin Muhammad (a.s.) said regarding the words of Allah, the Mighty and Sublime:
On the day when some of the signs of your Lord shall come, its faith shall not profit a soul which did not believe before, or earn good through its faith.
That it denotes the advent of the awaited Qaim from us. Then he said: “O Aba Baseer, Fortunate are the Shias of our Qaim who during the period of his occultation wait for his reappearance and who obey him during the period of his reappearance. They are Awliya of Allah for whom there shall be neither fear nor grief.”
(Al-Shaikh Al-Saduq. Kamal Al-din wa Tamam Al-Ni’ma (Perfection of Faith and Completion of Divine Favor).
it is narrated from Imam Ja’far Sadiq that he said: “The name of Imam Qaim will be announced on the 23rd night and he will reappear on the day of Ashura, on which Imam Husain was martyred.”
“They are certainly devising ˹evil˺ plans, but I too am planning. So bear with the disbelievers ˹O Prophet˺. Let them be for ˹just˺ a little while.” (Quran, 86:15-17)
said, ‘They plotted a plot [86:15]?’ He-asws said: ‘They plotted against Rasool-Allah-saww and they plotted against Ali-asws, and they plotted against Fatima-asws, so Allah-azwj Said: They plotted a plot [86:15] And I would be Planning a plan [86:16] So respite the Kafirs, – O Muhammad-saww – respiting them gently for a while [86:17] – to the time of Sending of Al- Qaim-ajfj. He-ajfj shall avenge for Me-azwj from the tyrants and the obligors from Qureysh and the clan of Umayya and rest of the people’’. (Allama Baqir Al-Majlisi. Bihar Al Anwaar – V 53 The book of History – Imam Al-Mahdi-ajfj, Ch 29 H 42 )

“Had those ˹unknown˺ believers stood apart, We would have certainly inflicted a painful punishment on the disbelievers.” (Quran, 48:25)
“Or ˹ask them,˺ “Who responds to the distressed when they cry to Him, relieving ˹their˺ affliction, and ˹Who˺ makes you successors in the earth? Is it another god besides Allah? Yet you are hardly mindful!” (Quran, 27:62)
Ali bin Ahmad narrated from… from Muhammad bin Muslim that Abu Ja’far al-Baqir had said when talking about this verse, ‘Or, Who answers the distressed one when he calls upon Him and removes the evil, and He will make you successors in the earth:’ “This verse has been revealed about al-Qa’im where Gabriel has sat on a drain in a shape of a bird. Gabriel will be the first one, who pays homage to al-Qa’im and then the three hundred and thirteen companions will pay homage. Those (of al-Qa’im’s companions), who are to walk, will arrive in time and those, who are not to walk, will disappear from their beds. It is the saying of Allah, ‘Therefore hasten to (do) good works; wherever you are, Allah will bring you all together.’ The good work is the belief in the guardianship of Ahlul Bayt.” (Abu Abdullah Muhammad bin Ibraheem bin Ja’far al-Katib. Al-Ghaybat Al-Nomani.
Tafseer Al-Qummi – Or, One Who Answers the distressed one when he supplicates to Him and He Removes the evil, and He will Make you to be Caliphs of the earth! [27:62]. ‘From Abu Abdullah-asws having said: ‘It was Revealed regarding Al-Qaim-ajfj. By Allah-azwj! Heasws is the awaited one. When he-ajfj prays two Cycles Salat in Al-Maqam (of Ibrahim-as) and supplicated to Allah-azwj, it would be Answered for him-ajfj, and He-azwj will Remove the evil and Make him-ajfj the caliph in the earth’’. (Allama Baqir Al-Majlisi. Bihar Al Anwaar – V 51, The book of History – Imam Al Mahdi-ajfj, Ch 5 H 11)
Imam Ali ibn Abu Talib (PBUH) said: At the extremity of hardship comes relief, and at the tightening of the chains of tribulation comes ease.

“Do you think you will be admitted into Paradise without being tested like those before you? They were afflicted with suffering and adversity and were so ˹violently˺ shaken that ˹even˺ the Messenger and the believers with him cried out, “When will Allah’s help come?” Indeed, Allah’s help is ˹always˺ near.” (Quran, 2:214)
“Allah has promised those of you who believe and do good that He will certainly make them successors in the land, as He did with those before them.” (Quran, 24:55)
