In verses 105-106 of Surah Al-Anbiya, a key point is made where the prophets were assured that righteous people would inherit and rule the earth. Simply put, it indicates a sign for every believer at the end of the verse. This sign highlights that understanding and building the future are essential aspects of religious belief. Essentially, those who are detached from the history of humanity and the prophets, as well as from the present and the future promised by Allah, or those who have a superficial religious faith limited to a specific period of life, lack a true understanding of and connection with religion. Religion is a continuous flow that originated with Adam in the past and will continue until the Day of Judgment. Hence, a truly religious individual is one who aligns with this continuous flow, identifies themselves as a part of it, and adheres to the principles of Allah’s followers, i.e., the way of the prophets. Moreover, when it mentions that the earth will be inherited by the righteous, it signifies the great value of the righteous to Allah as He addresses them as “My servants.” These individuals share a special connection with Allah and His teachings, living their lives according to divine guidance, contrary to the ways of wicked tyrants. A person cannot truly claim to be religious if they adopt the lifestyle of current rulersof the world and let them dictate how they live. To shape the future, it is crucial that we adopt a lifestyle like that of the righteous servants of Allah.
