“Tell those who believe to forgive those who do not hope for the Days of Allah. He will fully recompense people for whatever they have earned.” (Quran, 45:14) We have an event in the Quran interpreted as the ‘Days of Allah’. Surah Ibrahim, verse 5, it says, about the “Days of Allah’: “And remind them of the Days of Allah. In that there are signs for every patient and thankful person.” God orders his prophets to remind people of the Days of Allah, the day when God shows Himself clearly. The Day of Allah, according to the late Allameh Tabatabaei, is the day when God’s manifestation is abundant. That is, people face the greatest and highest manifestations of God on that day. On earth and throughout its history, on no day will God be shown as much as the day the Promised One will reappear and the Religion of Truth, the Religion of God, will prevail. That is, the day when God will fully reveal Himself with power, wisdom, and mercy. People will be very God-conscious on that day. The manifestation of God will show itself. People can communicate well with this manifestation. Imam Baqir (PBUH) said: One of the examples of the “Days of Allah” is when the Qaim reappears and rises. Now, about this ‘Day of Allah,’ there are two verses which make it very clear. One of them is Surah Jathiya, verse 14. It makes people very strong, it gives them consolation and patience. God says, “Tell those who believe to forgive those who do not hope for the Days of Allah.” Those who have no hope for that future, believers should not be hard on those who commit sin, crime, and oppression. Believers should be patient and forgive them for now. It means that believers should not urgently seek to take revenge on them. They should tolerate this. This arrogance exists. We are witnessing it now in the current incidents in Gaza. But as our dear leader said, these crimes are indeed painful, but they will lead to victory. You could have never thought that this small population could gain such a victory in the world. It is true that some people are being killed, but not a single drop of their blood goes to waste. The Quran tells the believers to be patient and wait. For what? “He will fully recompense people for whatever they have earned.” (Quran, 45:14) Be patient until the day when all the truth will prevail over all falsehood. He says, “Forgive,” let go and be patient. Do your job, fulfill your duties. Know that these events, this injustice, these efforts, and disbelief exist. But believers should not dwell on this at all because if they do, they will not be able to fulfill their duties and make progress.
