According to Surah Al-Qasas (The Story) verse 5, Allah wants to support the oppressed and empower them as leaders and heirs. This revelation suggests that history is progressing towards empowering the oppressed and the righteous, not weakening them. Although religion was undermined in the 20th century and labeled as the “opiate of the masses” responsible for their powerlessness, it has now become a source of happiness and vitality for people worldwide. This verse signifies that righteous yet oppressed servants of Allah will always exist. It is heartening to know that they are gaining strength at the End Times and are destined to rise as rulers and leaders of the earth. Their numbers will increase, indicating a shift where the oppressed, through embracing religion, will overcome oppressive and evil forces. The Quran emphasizes a forthcoming movement during the End Times, where the oppressed globally will increase in terms of religious educationand preparation for the leadership and inheritance of the earth. This good news is of utmost significance. The question arises: How will this prophecy be fulfilled? Essentially, the oppressed must develop various forms of power – political, military, economic, social, and cultural – to overcome arrogant powers, inherit the earth, and assume leadership. Therefore, according to this verse, a great force will emerge during the End Times, paving the way for the oppressed to lead and inherit the earth.
